Wuschel, Kika, Friday, Fluffy and Trouble

I love them because they are crazy animals, they are all damaged in some way or an other and that is why I love them.
Everyone can have the perfect animal, but the ones who really need you are the best, if you have patients.

Kika is a lover, to much of it, she wants love ALL the time, does not go out when it is wet, even morning dew scares her.

Wuschel popped out of Kika after I had rescued her, figures I grab a pregnant dog. He is strange even from the first day on. Will only eat small stuff. Even steak he will not touch unless it is cut in to small cubes.

Friday is an Ark Hunsville shelter dog from a Puppy Mill rescue. He used to bite his one tongue when people came to look at him. He was scared out of his mind and no one could touch him but me, so I took him home. To me he is a normal dog and it has been over one year since I took him, but my husband still can't touch him. Friday does come and sneaks a sniff when my husband is sleeping and he is very happy when he comes from work, just the touching seems to be the problem. Well, he has the rest of his live to get used to hubby :)

Fluffy we found in Italy he is a Tuxedo long hair something. When Trouble my other cat brought him home, his fur was all knotted up and he was unable to hunt because he could not walk straight and kept going around in circles. He was so skinny. He was a wild cat and it took almost a year until I was able to really touch him, but in that time snip, by snip I got his fur loose.

Trouble, and believe me, we named that cat right, was trying to avoid cars in an Italian marketplace. My husband just opened his car door and Trouble jumped in, boy did he ever have fleas.
He must have been around 13 weeks of age back than.
His past time things to do.
Go and let other cats beat you up.
Try to jump on the bathroom counter and slip, in the process of falling hit your head on the toilet and knock yourself out for about 2 minutes.
Bring home snakes, frogs and other stuff and if we try to keep him in, rip out every window and door seal he can reach. Not to mention the moaning and heartbreak sounds.

Well there is lots more, but that should give you an idea why I love them, they are all NUTS!!!

I adopted Miss Molly in June 2011 after I lost my beloved Toby at 18. I got her from Cat Adoption Team at 8 weeks old. She is a chatterbox. She talks to the birds, squirrels and to me. She loves to be brushed and combed for fleas. She loves shoulder massages and back rubs, her cat tree, and watching anything going on outside. As for food she can be a little picky, but she does like a little olive oil, cantalope, peanut butter or a single baked corn chip now and then. One of her favorite activites is wading in a tub of water. She will only get out when I empty the tub then she will patiently sit on my lap while I dry her off. She is for the most part a people lover. She is the best.

Bear is a chocolate in color and he reminds me of your first dog that we had for 13 years. Bear is good company to me sence we lost our only daughter in 2003. We had another dog after our first on left us and he wasnot as good as Bear or Jordie our 1st dog. Bear gives me kisses and lets me know that he loves me. Bear waits for me to come home and hold him for awhile. bear is by myside all the time once I get home. He rides with me to the stores and to the campgrounds. He loves it out there. Give him and chair and as long as he can see me his ok. Bear fills the emptiness I have for my daughter. Jordie was our daughter's dog and Bear does to me what he did to her. I'm glad I got him. I love him (Bear). I got Bear in 2008.

My Scruffy who will be 12 years old in August, 2011 thinks she is our child. She tells me when she wants to go outside, go for a walk, eat and also when she should have her dessert. Every night around 6:30 pm, she goes up to us, stares and gives a loud woof, that means I am ready for my dessert now.

She loves to go for car rides, especially with my husband and my son and for me, I am her private walker.

My husband and I heard crying somewhere on our back porch. After a few days, we finally found Percy hiding between our a/c unit and some bricks. He was about the size of the palm of my hand. We didn't know where his mother or any siblings were. He was all alone. After almost a week of sweet talk and lots of coaxing, he finally trusted me enough to come out of hiding. He was literally skin and bones and covered in fleas. I brought him into the house, bathed him in Dawn, set up one of our spare bedrooms with lots of toys, food, and water, and now he is part of the family. He is very healthy, considering where he started, and is quite the entertainer. I chose the name Percy, short for Perceus, who was a Greek Mythology hero, whose name means strength. He is definitely a fighter with a zest for life and love. I think we needed him as much as he needed us.

Cabo

It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are.

We love Hugo

We love Hugo because he is just the sweetest, craziest, jumpiest pup we've ever seen.
